As a realtor and life coach, Monica is passionate about helping people reach their professional and personal goals. Whether she’s coaching busy executives who want to advance their careers, guiding homeowners looking to sell their treasured investment, or advising buyers through the process of purchasing their home, Monica finds an incredible sense of purpose in helping them achieve their dreams.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Monica was exposed to real estate throughout her life. Her father, a successful entrepreneur and real estate investor, brought her into the family business where she experienced and assisted in the process of buying and selling property during her early career.
Monica has lived in New York City and Washington D.C. and worked in public relations and marketing for over 15 years, managing multi-million-dollar budgets and helping brands authentically engage multicultural communities. Her core value of ‘integrity’ has guided her throughout her career, which is how she has been able to build an undeniable sense of trust with her clients.
A homeowner in the Columbia Heights neighborhood and eight-year D.C. resident, Monica understands the homebuying process can be daunting – especially for first-time buyers. She enjoys making her clients feel informed and at ease throughout the experience, ensuring they feel good about making such an important investment and life decision.
In her spare time, you can find Monica exploring Rock Creek Park with her rescue pup Marley, discovering new restaurants around D.C. or visiting family in Puerto Rico. Holding a Master’s in Public Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Latino Studies from Hunter College, Monica is bi-lingual and serves clients in both English and Spanish.
